Our competitive rates are comparable to the other Savannah B&B's, Inns and Hotels in the Downtown Savannah. However with us, you will have an entire “flat”, Condo or Townhouse to yourself. You will have complete privacy in your own Savannah “home away from home.”

For larger Groups, such as Wedding Parties, reunions, couples, families, or corporate travelers, sharing an apartment can be a great savings. Published rates based on double occupancy, and increase $30 to $50 per additional guest. As the number of guests increases, the cost per person is averaged down. We offer you the highest quality accommodations at an unrivaled value.

A Bit of History

Suites on Lafayette is a ten-unit luxury inn with one to four bedroom historic condo-apartments. Located in the heart of the National Landmark Historic District of Savannah, Georgia, the Suites are situated on beautiful Lafayette Square and comprise of three historic buildings; the Main House, built in 1852 and two adjacent buildings constructed in the 1890's. The property was originally built for Major John B. Gallie, an officer in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.

Major Gallie died at Fort McAllister when the Union Ironclad Montauk fired on the fort. The Main House is attributed to John Norris, Savannah’s most prominent colonial architect. The two adjacent buildings were built by John Lafayette Robinson, also a Southern Confederate Officer who purchased the estate from the Gallie family.
